It's a method for writing twelve-tone music, I
guess named after the composer Milton Babbitt.
I'm actually trying to get a code monster friend of
mine to write a twelve-tone plug-in sequencer
program, which could be very handy in writing
unsettling passages for things like horror films,
etc...
