I would guess that the Electoral college would not have to reconvene as the count was recorded so probably just resend things. The procedure in congress where they read the results and take the count is just a ceremony and so I do not think it would have been a big deal to continue it. You may have had some corrupt Republicans trying to invent things about how they could not have the count or some such nonsense because their plan was to stall as long as they could to fundraise/rip off their voters for more cash for their "fight"...which of course was a lie because they all knew there was no fight. It was just a grift. 

So, I would think it would be inconsequential. However, the rampaging Trump terrorists did steal documents and mail from the Capitol building and so there is an investigation of that. They made their way into offices and stole things and went through paperwork and idiotically many of them took selfies and videos of themselves doing it and posted them on the internet. One truly massive clown live streamed his break-in and actually yelled his name and that he was in the Capitol...and this moron was actually a Republican politician from another state's legislature that had only just been elected. I'd say his career in politics will be quite short.
