I haven't been here in a long while because this place is just a leftist echo chamber and you want that for the entire internet now.

From a personal standpoint I certainly don't want the internet to be an echo chamber and I do want Republicans to speak up and have asked and encouraged them to do so. I think your statement above is representative of playing the victim, which the Right Wing media has encouraged people to do now for decades...and this in part led to the Trump cult.

But it is a very bad idea for you. I am not here to make a threat but killing the first amendment seems part and parcel to you. And from my side all we see is big tech in bed with government and making sure that happens but is a very bad idea to do that.

I have never attacked the first amendment nor would I ever encourage such an attack. "Big Tech" are not attacking the first amendment either, they are making a business decision that it is bad for business to have people spewing violent and racist nonsense on their platforms. This a not a first amendment issue it becomes a liability issue because being in any way associated with racist gibberish or promoting violent attacks is a liability. You can't yell fire in a crowded theater when there is no fire...that endangers lives. These social media platforms do not want involvement with people that want to spew lies and nonsense that can get people killed. Just like if you walked into your job and started yelling "Hang Mike Pence!" you would be removed. The government is not clamping down on free speech, it is private companies doing so...business people...and they have every right in the world not to be associated with the crap crazed QAnon nuts, Proud Boys, and militia maniacs are vomiting up among others. That's business, not a free speech issue. People still have the right to say whatever they want but if you start shouting you want to kill the Vice President and Nancy Pelosi expect to be put on a watch list, Marc.

The FBI is telling you that there will be violence this weekend and that is a false flag. That is elements of your people that might create it (hope not) and your media trying to create a false narrative that just was proven on Jan. 6.  But you weren't allowed to see what really happened.

Marc, the FBI is saying that because there are right wing nuts posting it all over the internet. I went to high school with a woman whose social media pages are a swamp of threats about Trump and his supporters going on a killing spree on January 20th and using the military to take over the country and executing Biden, Pelosi, Mike Pence, the Obamas, and all the supposed "deep state" enemies they think "stole" the election. That is crazy, number one, but the truth is there are a whole bunch of nuts that take it seriously and will go out and commit violence in the name of Trump. We just saw it at the Capitol on the 6th and people ended up dead. You noticed that right? These people think they are fighting a new civil war. They believe it.

Don't fall for it. It isn't us.

Which us are you talking about? I do believe there are a bunch of sane and reasonable Republicans that walked away from Trump's lunacy but there are a group that won't walk away as well. So, when you say "us" who do you mean?

Look if you can explain things that would be a great help and I encourage you to talk and engage in a conversation. A real back and forth where I ask you questions and you ask me questions and everybody that wants to participate can.

I would start by asking you the same question I asked Pat, do you think Biden won the election and won it in fair and square? Do you think he is the legitimate president of the United States or are you with Trump who claims he won in a landslide and Biden is illegitimate?
