Thank you, Peter. I have two siblings who are very deep in the weeds of conservatism, one of which is a sister who won't speak to me because I don't share her values. We last spoke when I called her before the 2016 election. After repeated attempts to contact her, I ultimately deleted her number from my phone in an act of frustration. The other of my conservative siblings was commenting on Facebook yesterday how he won't be taking the vaccine when it becomes available. It's like I don't even recognize him anymore.
And yet, conservatives complained that Obama was dividing the nation when he spoke of Trayvon Martin and how Trayvon could've been his son, or that he could've been Trayvon.
