Now, apropos of nothing (sorry, I can't resist!) I'll toss in two personal favorites that can be quite relevant: "sometimes you've just got to boil acorns" and "you're identifying with the hamster." If anyone cares, and you'll have to be truly intrigued to survive the explanations, I can elaborate.
