James Reyne's debut album was a Baerwald, Ricketts, Sigerson affair as Sigerson produced and Baerwald and Ricketts played on it. That was in 1988 - so in between Boomtown and Bedtime Stories. Speaking of Sigerson - you know you're a Baerwald fan when you track down the Boomtown producer's debut album as an artist - (I think) only available of vinyl. I have it teed up to post here - maybe I will now since I'm talking about him.
BTW- here's the All Music Guide snippet from Reyne's first solo album -
"Produced by Davitt Sigerson, the veritable maestro of searingly intense and emotional pop/rock (David & David, Toni Childs), and featuring appearances by Olivia Newton-John, Davids Baerwald & Ricketts, David Lindley, and Lee Curreri to name but a few, James Reyne is the album that established a unique new voice for an already widely established pop icon."
