I'd be kind of disappointed if there was not a well oiled chainsaw hiding somewhere in David's New York flat. It may not be the most polite thing but I'm sure standing on a New York street corner with a humming chainsaw would be an outstanding way to introduce yourself to your fellow city dwellers.
I used to get down to the city on a regular basis but my family there have now permanently disowned me so, I'm no longer welcome and now will most likely not be spending any time there...so David does not need to be concerned about bumping into me on the streets of New York, chainsaw or not in hand.
Anyway, one thing I wondered when I saw this most recent video of David is he seems to have moved again because in the last interview/conversation/Covid check-in with him he had moved to a town closer to Woodstock. Obviously in this video he is in the city sirens blaring and all.
I also moved recently but I am in more quiet environs, still in Massachusetts, but in a much more shire like location where I can host a Baerwald get together if you guys want to pay me a visit. So Mick, purchase your plane ticket now. David is welcome of course, he can bring a guitar or chainsaw or paint brush if he feels like doing some work. Oh, and 38 acres of forest across the street so the chainsaw could be put to use to chop up something other than Pat Brown. There is a barn so Mick you will have a place to sleep where you will feel right at home.
I promise to be polite, mannered, and maybe clean shaven.
