Reefer has only been decrimininalized* here Mick. As you’re surely aware, not in all states. Primarily for the tax revenue imo.
* in contrast to legal, requiring no permission to use or to grow. If I used it, I’d support the black market. Actually, I’d grow it myself. Turns out seeds aren’t illegal in the US and can be ordered from Canada.
The upside is some wonderful medical good has being accomplished.
Did you know that US Drug Schedule of Nixon’s War on Drugs (1971) is essentially a carbon copy of the UN’s 1961 drug schedule? Which is why marijuana is a schedule one substance, and remains so.
