Icon Cannabis Edibles Update.......thanks Kevin G....

Well, here is the latest on the cannabis edibles experiment - while I would really like to try a bit of spirits to compliment the edibles, I quit drinking in 2009 (my father when alive in his later life loved to mix smoking cannabis and his drinks to a point of hitting what he called his "sweet spot").

What I can say is that Kevin G was 100 percent correct in his advice of experimenting with the dosage and strain.  And after reading his suggestions I did that and did some more research on the differences of Sativa, Indica, THC, and CDb.

My use of the edibles has allowed for a remarkable state since tweaked (I'm pretty good with a low dose of about 6.25 mg -  but I have been using one edible that comes in 10 mg squares and it has been pretty good - it's a hybrid edible).

I try to take daily, brisk five-mile walks and as an experiment, I've dosed up three-time on my walks (twice with 10 and once with 6.25).  And let me tell those interested this - it has been one strange and wonderful experience.  For one thing, my brain processes the music I listen to in a much more enhanced way - it is like I get more tuned into the music.  Secondly, the weirdest thing is when walking, like the line in the movie Stand By Me goes, I feel like I'm wagon training while never getting anywhere.  It's sort of like time slows down and while I feel I'm not getting anywhere, before I know it, I've made great distances.  It's kind of like one of those stop-motion filmed sequences where the person gets closer in chunks.  Also, the songs seem to go on forever - a three-minute song seems like it lasts ten minutes.

Now, the worst thing about this stuff in my state is our state taxes the hell out of Cannabis - like thirty percent in total (I was told by the clerk that if I got a medical card the taxes drop to 1 percent).

Lastly, the last time I went to the dispensary I pre-ordered my stuff online, and when I went in there all the people there treated me differently (in a very good way) and like I was an aging old hippie.

By the way, if my wife finds out about this, oh shit, will I be in big trouble......
