Well, take it from Laurence Tribe, we are in trouble as a nation. What happens to us will sadly become a problem for the entire planet. If the United States is allowed to slip into full on fascism the world will pay a horrible price. 

Biden and Garland are not guys that will want to prosecute but what they should know if they don't is they are aiding and promoting the end of our democracy. We are a beaten down people now. We have had so many years of ignorant partisan politics and the wealthy and powerful getting away with crime after crime after crime that we, as a nation, have lost faith in our justice system and in doing so, our country. 

Make no mistake too that what Trump and Republicans are doing is forcing these fights into the courts for the specific purpose of testing and burdening our justice system. They are hoping that a stacked Supreme Court and McConnell's hundreds of judges he has placed on federal courts will work in their favor. Republican run states are working rapidly to change state laws prior to 2022 and 2024. They will assure that if you live in an area where there is a high population of voters of color you will need to spend hours and hours in line to cast a vote. They will eliminate polling stations so the areas with high populations will have a horrible time trying to cast a vote while areas with their Right Wing voters will breeze through polling stations in a matter of minutes. 

They are changing the laws in Republican states so that regardless of the voter outcome, if the suppression measures somehow fail to work, the state legislators can select the winning candidates. This is so obscenely against everything we stand for as a nation that people in these Republican run states should be fighting not to let this happen. If you are an American you should be against this with every fiber of your being. Sadly, the Trump cult, and there are a lot of them, are all for this. It means they then would not need to worry about voting, their guy could just be installed. Legally. 

I don't think people actually believe this is happening but it is ongoing as I type. 

We are marching toward a country where Republican run states will no longer vote and Democrat run states will hold elections. Once the nation is split in this manner, we are all done. 

Here is Mr. Tribe's bottom line, take it to heart, stand up and make your voice heard especially in states like Florida, Texas, Arizona and Georgia...
