well in this neck of the woods at this time of year there is a strong wassailing culture. This goes back to pagan times and the celebrating of the seasons turning. these tunes are reinvented and resung and reinvigorated as most of them are simply voice. cant see endless feedback a la Hendrix being a thing at a local orchard when people are gathering to celebrate the return of the light.
it doesn't feed starving children either
