the thing is like I said classical music is still killing it 300 years later. it's lasting where these pop stars and rocks stars are slowly fading and i cant understand that because classical music had less accessibility than other music.
can't say for sure if in a 100 years time Hendrix will be like hearing a Scott Joplin tune where people go...ahhh nice but not quite playlist. we wont be around to tell but my feeling is that most artists from the 60's are fading apart from the Beatles who seem perennial. so the value of the copyright ownership is going to decline in due course as people stop listening to Neil Young or Dylan or McCartney or other dinosaurs.
wonder what David Baerwald will do with his copyright. I have a feeling he might bring it to Borat
