I've seen that guy before but it was not him. Wow, what a goddamn travesty they would intentionally screw with Freddie's vocal tracks.
The thing about autotune to me is I think it may become commonplace. I mean some young singer is recording songs and the standard production method may be to use autotune to "correct" the vocals and that just becomes the "sound" everybody gets used to.
The video I saw had this guy applying autotune on several different famous singer's vocals. I think that included Freddie, Plant, Elton John, and Steve Perry...a guy I have heard several people refer to as the most "perfect" singer in rock/pop music.
When you think about rock singers in general it is their lack of perfection that makes the majority of them great. They are distinct and you are drawn in by how they approach a lyric.
