and while you're at it grap me a room too hopfully with a great view, ok? I'll be running a little late, because I have to stop by the megastore to pick me up a hundred or so CD's. You see, I've been feeling a wee bit incomplete in my life for years, Because my CD collection is missing a few thousand titles. I mean the megastore usualy has a sale every other month for back catalog CD's. I just couldn't see myself paying $7.99 for Van's greatest hits or $6.99 for Led Zepplin II. But now that the majors will most likely be dropping prices, I'll be able to buy back catalog CD's for under five bucks, yahoo! I won't complain when the CD snaps in half, because it's paper thin, nor will I  bitch and moan about there being no liner notes or info in my CD booklet.

You have a good point, about going out on a limb for a new artist. I guess I've never felt like a new artist has let me down. I research on the web and in mags before I buy. Plus a few megastores offer listening booths and I download alot of stuff off the web. I also wanted to clear up my last post, it made it sound like I don't buy new music, which is not true. in fact I purchase way to much of it!and I also wanted to say that I don't hate everything out there. There really is alot of good music right now.The problem is just that a majority of it isn't on the major labels! For me a majority of my music purchases have been Indies and Imports.Which means higher prices, at times for me.

Cheers, Kevin
