just for completeness here - shuffle play had me listening to this today. I have it down as Capital of the World - when in actuality DB sings it as Champion of the World. hmmm...that would have saved a serious argument I once had with Kent.

On headphones - this recording isn't terrible.

It got me thinking about the "how did DB end up as Jewel's opening act". At the time - in 1997 - Jewel had a top ten album and played the MTV Video Music Awards a week before - and likely could have picked anyone to open for her from the myriad of poets with guitars busking around every street corner in New England. And DB is up there. I'm all for it - don't get me wrong. It just seems odd as we've come to know DB's desire to NOT play live. They do do a duet on Smart in a Stupid Way.

Anyway - it's Champion of the World on this one.
