Ross - that is quite a playlist there your kid is in to. What do you think the sweet spot age is to really make an impression. For me - I think 13-16 was the age for me that music I listened to then - I still listen to today. Obviously not everything - but several stand out bands/musicians I got into then - and still enjoy today.
My guy is 5. We get a chance to listen to music in the car together quite often. His playlist is mostly fun songs - like Monster Mash and King Tut (Steve Martin!) - but for some reason he's also a fan of Love Will Tear Us Apart from Joy Division. I think it's the voice. I can't wait until he starts influencing my music choices.
