I remember hearing "The Church of Logic, Sin & Love" on the radio in the summer of 1992. Coincidentally I took my first trip to Arizona that summer and saw the billboards on I-10 advertising The Thing, which is mentioned in the song. For those unfamiliar with The Thing:
