I seem to find the people more rational and more down to earth. I think your news outlets have not become as infected with disinformation and having to react to it as ours have...yet anyway. 

I don't know that on that side of the pond you have yet elected anybody as stupid and poisonous as people like Marge Greene, Matt Gaetz, Jim Jordan and the Republican power players here that use their positions, not to govern, but to create fodder for Right Wing media outlets. I mean, there is no more Republican party, it is a TV show now. These people don't care how dumb or dishonest, or nonsensical what they say or do is, just that if they say and do things that outrageously stupid it will get on TV. 

You have a war in Europe with what is going on in Ukraine which looks and sounds like a traditional war. We have a war in the United States where people are killed and injured daily but really more out of pure stupidity and the promotion of it where they tend to die in smaller numbers but it is pretty consistent. 

I have not looked but in our war we have probably killed way more school children this year than they have in Ukraine. Hell, our numbers in terms of deaths that did not need to occur are probably keeping pace with the deaths in Ukraine. And we are not using tanks nor bombing anything...yet. 

I think the big difference here is, while you guys in Europe are in agreement what is happening in Ukraine needs to end, we actually have Republicans here cheering on and pushing for our war to go on endlessly. There is no coming together, there is no saying "Hey, come on we are all Americans." and the sad part of that is...our war is in our own hands and we could end it. Republicans won't though, for the simple fact it will cost them votes.
