Dear Fellow Baerwaldians: As age 40 approaches next June, I must say I have been especially heartened by two performances I witnessed recently: Springsteen, at age 50, is as powerful as ever and still able to go all out for 3 hours, and last night in Boston, Joe Strummer, a mere kid of 47, blew me away with as passionate a show as I remember from his Clash days. I know DB hits 40 in 2000 and I want him to know that his best performing days can still lie ahead if he so desires. Get rested after you do the New Years thing, David, and get back on the road! Boston is waiting for you.
