Maybe we're overthinking this gun thing a bit. You know growing up I used to watch the High Chaparral, Bonanza, The Virginian, possibly the Big Valley...maybe imagining that one...

Let's face it no one ever got killed. Everyone fell off their horse beautifully and safely. 

but the UN are still coming for you Greenie. And they shoot real bullets.
