I think this came up here years ago, perhaps around a discussion of Richard Dawkins or the guy that wrote that book about bullshit. The species does evolve to survive, I believe we discussed, in doing so in the age of fast flying bullshit speeding around the world via the internet in seconds, we as a species would evolve better bullshit detectors.

Evolution happens slowly.

To be a Republican today means you have been injured and are upset. You are angry at all those people that are doing you dirty...you just don't really know who they are. So, they make a list for you...liberals, immigrants, gays, lesbians, transgender people, the media, teachers, the FBI, the CIA, the Democrats.

Putting Trump/Pence bumper stickers on your car let's people know that you know, all those people are coming to get you...and you want people to know you know.

Of course, Trump and Pence are now two different things that no longer go together because Pence let down MAGA, was supposed to be hung at the January 6th riot, and so that guy needs to at least cut off the Pence part of his bumper sticker.

Apparently the clowns they put in charge of the Republican party in Michigan and Arizona have bankrupted the party in both states...due to how inept they are, how they have no idea what they are doing, and that they are all fighting with each other.

Stupid does not do well when it comes to evolution. One of my favorite films had I think it's 50th anniversary recently, The Friends of Eddie Coyle, set here in Massachusetts. There is a line in the film that goes something like "Life is hard. It's even harder when you are stupid."

The Republicans are paying the price of inviting so much stupid into their party. Stupid makes a lot of mistakes. Stupid leads to trouble. Stupid can lead to you and your party going the way of the dodo bird. They invited in the stupid with the Trumps, Greenes, Tubervilles, Comers, Jordans...and well...stupid has decided to stay a while.
