I don't know much about an American Joint Chiefs of Staff protocol or checks and balances against raging lunatic MAGA politicians. I suspect that they would hmmm and hawww about stuff but I can't really see who is calling the shots anymore when a war is needed to culll a few of us. Messybear won't trust anyone and thinks there is a design perhaps, my Alien friends aren't so sure, but I think you'd have to procreate a line of fucking geniuses to sustain a strategy of calculated manipulation of the world via plandemics, scamdemics, terrorist threats of a global level such as ISA, Brexit, Eco catastrophes.
I do go back to the Middle Ages when the word 'luxuriate' crept into the English language. It came about after the black plague, those who survived were minted and could tell the Norman aristocrats to go fuck themselves when cheap labour was required. that went down really badly. Things were never the same. Look to the Plantagenets I say.
But I am watching narratives about AI closely. It's watching me even more closely.
