I just listened to two podcasts, multiple times actually, that I believe will provide you with much needed perspectives. They are each about an hour so for two hours of your time, you'll have much to ruminate on and it may well change your views on several fronts.

Taken together, it would seem that the barbarism celebrated by Hamas, at least from their perspective, is understandable, a religious sacrament as Sam says. For the sane among us, it's truly horrifying...and it's not going away.
