I can remember going to see 'The Life of Brian' as a teenager. The short films before were as funny as the main feature. One was a story about 'Don, the cockroach' and the other was a seemingly boring travelogue narrated by John Cleese which transforms into a Basil Fawlty type rant about the f#cking gondolas in Venice by the end. Happy memories!
