If anyone is interested, there have been several good profiles of Wesley Clark in recent periodicals. Like someone mentioned, one was in the Atlantic, but a better one was in the latest issue of the Oxford American. There is also a good essay in the latest New Republic on how Clark negates all of Shrub's strengths.

Personally, I am jazzed by his entry. When he was on Bill Maher's show, Maher asked him if he was afraid of the "liberal" tag and with no flinching stated "NO!"

But what I find so alarming is how the right is running out the charge, "He's no Eisenhower." What a cheap attempt to lesson a career military leader.

My dream ticket is Clark/Dean. And please, please, someone out there with influence please get through to Hillary Clinton that she hurts the Dems more than she helps us!

As for all of Clinton/Gore campaign people signing onto a Clark campaign, isn't that really the wise thing to do? After all, didn't all of those people run campaigns that won the most votes in three straight presidential elections?
