Hear, hear!!

I'm humbled with gratitude for those who are.

(My mom wasn't. She meant well but she was afraid of my father --- as she should've, although she did wield him as a weapon [aw well, he was a weapon to be wielded]. I saw the fatal flaw in that even as a child.

But I've known great mothers. Admired them.

My sons' mother was spectacular. No bull. This isnt hindsight. Long before she left on longterm galactic travel plans I knew she was something special. A counted blessing. So did the boyz.

I literally was in awe of the woman I loved.

Although she had a truly humble way. Heartfelt. Discerning. Sporty. Yet deeply feminine. She was excellent at many things ..and she just did it ..'Cos it was doable ..and that's it. No fanfare.

At most, a lovely smile. A look of joy that she so often carried in her eyes. Or sorrow. Whichever, it was honest. Through her I learned how spectacular moms can be.

Amidst this farfetched con of man.)
