Still holding out hope the Boomtown demos are somewhere on a hard drive or maybe the original tapes from the portastudio. Also - maybe I didn't catch it the first time around but from the interview it does seem a failed first attempt with different musicians took place with some tracks from Boomtown. All the more for the 40th Anniversary release!
By the way - here is the WttB from the demo that David sent along to me almost 20 years ago
