David - have you ever had the time to literally sit around and do nothing? Like just stare off into space like I do sometimes and waste half an hour of your life with nothing productive to show for it. Martial Arts. Writing. Singing. Digging. Pissing the other David off. Your engine must be relentless. I still think (until I read the book) that your singing is the pinnacle of artistic endeavour. But then again I haven't seen the trench or roads. And I defo haven't seen you doing any martial arts moves. So yeah singing it is for me...until The. Fire. Agent. Unless meantime Trump has assassinated you on behalf of Pat. Just go down fighting. you and Reg and Dan and EEE and Peter T. I want to see you all charging towards the gammon heads with your little Shire swords shouting 'For Mick'...it still won't be enough for the Danish chap here but I shall do a fine oratory over your charred and mutilated bodies as Democracy disappears towards Europe...
