To me, with the observations of our premiere lazy American society when it comes to stimulation, I would believe Number 3 is the best bet for where this will end up - fat little blobs with wires to the head, tubes to feed us non-stop and on-board bladder and rectal catheters so we no longer have to do absolutely anything but to exist to consume.

Was it not the animated movie Bolt that had a scene like this? Of sheeple on an endless loop of endless consumption?
