Sorry if I took that in the wrong direction. If she had taken the fight to him and joined Christie, I don't think it would have mattered much. Her campaign was a disaster when it started and so she was always playing from behind. My feeling is, they, the Republicans, needed a bunch of voices to speak up, so if it was just her and Christie, she may have been driven out faster. 

Basically, this is what Republicans claimed to have wanted, Trump having to face off against one other candidate. Trump generally gets about half of Republican voters in the primary. Well, if it was just two candidates, they thought that meant according to the math, the other half of Republican voters would be available to the challenger. In that case they thought someone could beat Trump. 

I don't personally like Haley at all and she does poll better against Biden than Trump does, so yeah, in reality, I'd rather not see her face off against Biden but I would like her, as a Republican, to do some damage and tell the truth about Trump in the primary. She has some ammo she could use, and should use, because her campaign is kind of a Hail Mary at this point. So, throw it all at him, Nikki!
