Open Letter to DB
To the guy who composed 'Why',I started this post to respond to Pat's profile (which is a fine idea) post. 'What question would you like to ask DB?' and it just got me...I have many questions, and frankly while many board members already know the answers to some of these questions, I'd like to hear their answers, especially Pat's - but I only know your 'profile' through your music and your posts here...1) is it better that way?2) what's it like to have a 'board' and members? I dug through and found the convo with you and the Bangle impersonator...what'd that do? Do you feel like an unelected CEO?3) what's it like to have complete strangers (I don't know your middle name) respond to you in the way they do? As the opening line would imply, I don't have an impression of you, just the effect. By the way, the effect is good and the basis of this board, I suppose. But, do you need this?
Is it getting in the way?4) How important is it to you to maintain and author music that's perceptably vital, given all this?A needlessly defensive fan preaching to to the choir,Leep.s. I've been listening/learning (the music) to 'God put a smile upon your face' - by Coldplay while I wrote this..I just like this song...
