Only our DB can casually drop references to a Ronald Reagan bondage film, the four years of his and Sean Penn's trying to kill each other (no details beyond that), his reaction to hearing Come What May on Broadway, The Regulators, recording drunken RAMPART cops, but by far, the compelling details surround the book that represented a seven year transformational journey, which he also compared to 800 songs! WOW! This is our guy at his most passionate, and honest, and in a way, vulnerable! Can't wait for this late summer/fall release!
