This 14 minute TED Talk that Michael gave is hilarious as he debunks several hoaxes that were so readily embraced by the credulous. I subscribe to his magazine, Skeptic, and enjoy his podcast, The Michael Shermer Show.
Here's the stellar TED Talk that is well worth your time.
