Yes, Reg, where the MAGA weirdos is an enormously consequential question. Will it be a vile and violent race to the bottom, only to break through what should be a minimum level of moral bedrock only to burrow deeper into what, some sort of subterranean sewer...and beyond. Prior to Trump, we never realized the crucial role that norms play, they were just a given. And the MAGA pack wouldn't understand any of what I just wrote.
