the absolute existential terror being felt across the country, and the world. How many children of undocumented workers are waking up this morning with intense fear and upheaval as their parents await the knock on the door. Similarly, our Ukrainian allies must be thoroughly demoralized, and what of their neighbors in the Baltic states, Poland, and across Europe? Our Pacific alliances, which were bolstered by Biden, are in doubt. I'm also thinking of the poor young woman who is presently not pregnant but will find herself in such a state in the coming years. And what of climate change legislation? It's melting quicker than the glaciers!

No pity party for me. My family and friends are educated, have built and accumulated wealth. We'll most likely weather the shit storm that awaits, but for the less fortunate, I honestly don't know. And we'll all have a ringside seat for the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025.

Biden did many noteworthy things but his utter failure at the southern border, and the daily footage of chaos that it provided, played an enormous role in our defeat.
