We saw the WWll film, Blitz, last night, which covers a few nights of the German bombing of British cities. There was a very memorable cameo from Stephen Graham who does "sinister" extremely well! And I said to my wife, "I think that's Paul Weller from The Jam". And yes, the credits confirmed my suspicion. It prompted me to play on the drive home  many of their masterful songs like Going Underground (which is so timely)! 

Overall, it was a very solid film, with great visual recreations of the horror that fell from the sky and the absolute devastation on the ground. Not an Oscar-contending film, but certainly worth your time and sadly, it resonates with contemporary destructions in places we can all surely name.
