Been knocking this around for a few days. I had an idea today - make the guests people I knew who died unexpectantly and likely didn't have time to say goodbye or make peace with loved ones. Growing up we had a neighbor couple who were so cool to us at the time - drank water for dinner, often walked around without shoes, had a cat named Bamboo. They were young and probably as close to hippies as our rural neighborhood could stomach. Greg was into road biking and amateur astronomy - 2 things I still enjoy that I learned from him. He and his wife ended up moving away (not far) and had a daughter. Greg died in his sleep - probably in his 40s. He was on my list to be able to make a few phone calls while he was at my dinner.
But I have a feeling this isn't what you had in mind Peter.
And Jesus? You think he'd be a good guest?
