I enjoyed reading your response to the "Postman" question. Could you answer a question from me concerning "Born For Love?" I was always puzzled by the line "...i saw those pearly gates... tried to shove my way through, they said "you gotta wait..." ."
Does this refer to a botched suicide attempt? I don't mean of you personally, but the "narrator" of the song. At least I hope it wasn't you!
