Well I hit enter to early and posted my message before talking about the music. I love it!!!! This is a fantastic body of work. Great songwriting and production. The opening tune "Nothing's Gonna Bring Me Down" is really uplifting, and I really dig the horns. Great tune! So is the next song, and the next......Sheryl's vox worked out great on "Bozo" a really cool, funky number.. I'll post more after I've taken it in a few times. There's lots of music here. Thanks David for putting out music that's worth waiting for, and thanks so much for your generousity!!...."Love #29" just came on. Man, this is a great song. Sounds like you've been listening to some Marvin Gaye and Sly Stone lately.. This music deserves to be heard...One question: As I'm eagerly awaiting my copy of "The Shaming of the True" can you tell me what Kevin Gilbert's contributions were to this disc?
Regards,
Darren
