Just re-found the site after my copy of a fine mess showed up... still on early listenings; it's in rotation with Kevin Gilbert's The Shaming of the True (a masterpiece unavailable at the moment although a non-deluxe version is apparently due out soon), Boccherini's guitar quintets, California Guitar Trio's Yamanashi Blues and Adrian Belew's Inner Revolution.
I discovered the tree too late to join officially... any hope of getting a copy still? Or am I completely out of luck?
Quite neat to see that DB himself participates in the board. Then to see him mention Nick Drake (one of my recent discoveries--before the VW commercial, thank you very much). A truly haunting songwriter, singer and guitar player. One current project I've been diddling with is directly inspired by Nick which will be me playing acoustic guitar, flute and singing, backed by a string quartet. The music is a mix of influences, including, but not limited to Nick, King Crimson, the Beatles, Jethro Tull, Leonard Cohen, and many others. Unfortunately many other projects have pushed the project to the back burners so all I've got right now are a few fragments of songs (e-mail me privately if you really care and I can point you at the "secret" page for the project).
I probably was going to say something else, but this has already gotten longer than it needs to be.
