David,
So, to clarify things...does this mean you have no future plans to release any of your own material? That you are hanging up that portion of your career to produce crazy versions of old Beatles hits? That would be a waste and a shame. You are a writer that deserves to continue to be heard. I will miss hearing you if that's the case. I thought "Triage" was by far one of the finest rock records of the 90's. Your writing on it was sharp, bitter, vengeful, darkly funny, and in the end hopeful. It captured the social and political climate in this country with a brutal clarity that I don't think could be matched. I understand that it came from a turbulant period of your life but man, you really nailed it with that record. It is one of the main reasons I hold you in such high regard as a writer. I'm glad you survived your troubled times and the stories you tell here about your life and the music business would seem to be great fodder for a book written in the style of, say, Hunter Thompson. I guess for selfish reasons I just don't want to see that writer disappear. You seem like a very intelligent, compassionate, all around good guy from what I can disern from the things you post here. I'm sure you don't need any help from me or any one else out here to make a well informed desicion about your life. I'm just asking is that really it man? You're all done?
Respectfully,
Reg a Walden
