I have just listened for the first time to Kevin Gilbert's "The Shaming of the True". While I was searching for AFM, (much to my chagrin albeit unavailable), I was fortunate enough to stumble on his final project. I was just curious about your interpretation of the record. It is obvious that you have collaberated with the late Mr. Gilbert on numerous occasions and the style in which he writes certainly leaves one to ponder the relationship and or influence that you must have predicated toward each other. I do not in any way mean to make comparisons, however you both strike me as extremely cerebral and selfless songwriters. While I will sadly miss Kevin's contribution to the music world, I much anticipate your next work. I to am a songwriter, however never blessed with the convictions that you men have shown me.
