A question or two for David,
Upon repeated listenings of AFM this weekend,I was drawn to the aforementioned song and it seemed to evoke Robbie Robertson like imagery. Maybe not the nostalgic Americana Robertson utilised on songs like 'The Weight" or "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down",but perhaps that of other songs like "King Harvest" or even some of his more recent work. I know you did some session work during "Storyville" with Robbie. Were you at all influenced in your formative years by The Bands' first two seminal albums,or subsequent releases? Also in your opinion, is or was there any other group of musicians with three such versatile and amazingly talented lead vocalists? On a completely different subject,
I've read that Larry Klein has used instruments made by luthier, Rick Turner, have you used any of Turners' incredible equipment?
Thanks,
Kyle
