Coincidentally, I'm listening to Kid A right as I read this thread. My thoughts echo David's, although Kid A is a hard album for the unitiated. OK Computer or The Bends might be a better first album to get. That being said (and after repeated tri-daily listenings) I think Kid A is probably Radiohead's best.
