First, thanks to the folks here who've suggested music to go out and take a listen to (particularly Coldplay.) Having benefited from the references of others, I thought I'd share my latest find.
Ryan Adams apparently used to be the lead singer of Whiskeytown, a band I'd heard of but never heard. I picked his CD up after reading a review, and I'm really enjoying it.
The CD is "Heartbreaker." It's very acoustic, has a lot of harmonica and a few up-tempo songs but mostly just good steady song writing in a sort of folk rock vein.
I just like to see the less homogenized artists get appreciated, and I think there's a chance Baerwald fans might like this.
