Every year around Christmas time Warren Haynes puts together an all star jam for charity which takes place over in Asheville, NC. ( Warren's home town )

In 1999 Cry of Love did a little "reunion" set at the jam which is available on a dbl. cd set called Wintertime Blues.

Freed is also an occasional member of Blue Floyd which does jam versions of Pink Floyd material.
