If you think corporations are so good, pick up a copy of Fast Food Nation. It shows how we have been duped by corporations and how they have molded us into walking drones lapping up their constant gruel. The concepts in this book about fast food and its evolution are applicable to all walks of corporate life and of it's destructive results on real quality of life issues.
As far as the environment, what is it that you anti-environmentalists don't understand about the importance of losing any species to extinction? It's a long, slippery slope of extinction for us all; sooner or later the earth will shuck us all off. The only good thing about that is that it will also toss off the Dick Cheney's of this world too.
Lastly, read into the implications of what little warming of the earth means to rising salt water levels around coastal areas and how it ruins freshwater and other life breeding areas.
