There was a message posted further down about "bushwa" ... and the picture of W next to it when you look it up in the dictionary. (not MY dictionary of course... they'd never print obscenity like that...) It's unclear at the end, whether this was Jim Hightower writing the message, or just a quote from him, and the name is a coincidence. Was that you Hightower? and if so, how the hell does a fellow Austinite as busy as you find time to listen to music?
For those of you who may not know him, his books are as funny as they are inspirational (or depressing, if you don't already know a bit of the truth) and his column that shows up in our free weekly, the Chronicle, is a great source of information on the latest scams run by both business and government. Sadly, unless I'm mistaken, his talk radio show is still not broadcast in the city in which it hails from. -Not that I have a radio in my car anyway. (I've had 3 of the damn things stolen out of my jeep. It doesn't matter how crappy they are!) - but much of the rest of the country can listen in.
