LOBOS RETURN TO THE STUDIO WITH NEW LABEL
In what is described as a "sideways" move, Los Lobos will continue to make
recordings with the Disney corporation, moving from the Hollywood label to
Mammoth Records. Studio time has been booked for June 2001. From talking to the
band members, it sounds like the Lobos formula of spontaneous songwriting "from the
hip" will once more prevail.
The Mammoth stable includes John Wesley Harding, Fresh Young Fellows, Seven
Mary Three, Squirrel Nut Zippers, A, and Joe Henry.
