What a beautiful place, with its rivers and lakes and genuinely friendly people-
yeah yeah yeah yeah I'll indulge in a bit of inverted snobbery here...Eden my dear friend is this side of the atlantic with it's very (real) wet cold damp day to day ordinary views and rivers and people who aren't really genuine or friendly...because that's too simplistic..and there's too many different currencies and languages and seasons and way way way too much irony...and the musicians are all too jaded and unenthusiastic, but I'll still play in your band if you come to europe and can't get 5/5'ths together...i've been looking for a david baerwald song book with transcriptions in the local shops and all they have is that bloody obscure band the beatles everywhere....what a joke!
